Install Technician (submit resume)

The ideal candidate is a serious, dependable individual with a minimum of 3 years experience in audio/video, alarm, car stereo or electrical installations. An Associate Degree in engineering or trade school education is a big plus. We will consider applicants with technical experience in other fields.

Responsibilities include:

• Wiring and installation of in-wall devices such as keypads, touchpanels, speakers, CATV, telephone and network jacks
• Wiring and installation of satellite TV systems and phone systems
• Installation and testing of state-of-the-art home theater and audio systems, as well as cutting-edge residential control systems
• Daily communication and interaction with other team members as well as other construction professionals

• Ability to work under pressure and with deadlines
• Creative solutions sensibility
• Ability to wire an existing structure with little or no supervision
• Knowledge of various electrical and electronic connections including RCA, BNC, "F", RJ-45 and solder connections
• Ability to punch down and program PBX style telephone systems
• Ability to quickly troubleshoot and bring back a down system
• PC skills: Pronto edit, Speakercraft EZ-tools, RTI
• Knowledge of computer networks and how to setup
• Clean driving record
